The idea that Libertarianism is monolithic must be corrected. It is also important to point out that extreme Libertarianism in international affairs differs from Globalism in no particular manner.

Many Ron Paulistas dream the same dream.  I am surprised, however that the most fierce of foes of sinister globalism, Alex Jones, and his clones are Paulistas.
Libertarian Constitutionalists agree on the premise that the Constitution as the Framers conceived it is the best hope of maintaining a Liberal republic.  It is the Constitutional piece that is required to maintain liberty; and unfortunately I am detecting a nascent anti-Constitutional, or anti-Federalist contingent within the Libertarian ranks.  The rise of those who would exhume Alexander Hamilton and exile him from the Pantheon of American Founders is an ominous sign of how far down the path of Anti-Federalism the Austrian Schooled radical libertarians wish to go.  Coupled with the sudden urge to “honestly” deal with Abe Lincoln, and declare him a Tyrant, by some of the supporters of the movement behind Ron Paul is concerning.  It becomes evident that even if the Constitution were to be fully restored there would remain legitimate differences in the policies that various interests would seek.  Indeed, when the Federal Government no longer is in charge of picking winners and ameliorating the losses of certain losers, there would remain a legitimate diversity of interests that would still need to be sorted out through deal-making and compromise of Representatives and Senators.  The return of legitimate Constitutional government would represent the beginning of new political debates; and this is good.  But it will raise the question of: now, what shall our reinvigorated Liberal republic do; how shall it conduct itself in the society of other sovereign nations and states?

How shall the Federal Government use the legitimate powers conferred upon it to “form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity”?  These are political issues that are legitimate debates within a constitutional republic.  However, Dr. Paul and his followers have taken particular stances on some of these issues and have made them into tests of loyalty to Libertarian Doctrine, which they aren’t.

What if someone who is less enamored with the Constitution than another candidate, but the other candidate reflects one’s own opinion of a policy that is believed to be superior to the Constitutionalist’s proposed use of Constitutional power?

For instance: Trade Policy.

Trade Policy is to be set by the Congress: Article one; section 8; third paragraph “To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes”.

The dogmatic Radical Austrian ideological libertarian insistence upon Free Trade as a logical corollary to individual liberty is at odds with the Constitution.

So if a candidate A is in favor of a nationalist trade policy, (Dr. Paul admits that setting Trade Policy with foreign states is a legitimate Federal power in “End The Fed”) but believes it to be illiberal, and not only bad on a practical level, but evil for its reduction of liberty, what to do?
Unfortunately there is no candidate A! (That would have been the Pat Buchanan Constitutionalist that never showed up for this campaign season; it might have been Michele Bachmann, or Sarah Palin. Alas.)

And if candidate B is in favor of a very forward Naval defense policy  (as Constitutionally laid out in Article One, section 8, paragraph 13: “To provide and maintain a Navy;” to ensure American preeminence over the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans; the God-given moats that will forever guarantee our Independence, then I ask what of the equally Constitutionally minded Dr. Paul’s evisceration of America’s forward and yes, offensive control of the Seas?  Agreed, that the very idea of a single pair of “boots on the ground” in the middle of Central Asia is as absurd as landlocked Mongolia investing in a Navy!  But, America has evolved from the antebellum days. No longer divided into a Northern modernizing commercial republic producing wealth through increasing industrialism, agricultural but becoming a major player in international commerce; and a Southern fossilized remnant of Cavalier Britain before their Civil Wars.  The Cavaliers, or Royalists were based upon a landed gentry with aspirations to nobility.  They derived their wealth from agriculture and rentals.  They scorned the upstart Middleclass with their Reformed Protestant chapels.   They, the new Bourgeois, or Middleclass, were represented by Parliament.  They were the shop keeps, the craftsmen, the merchants that represented the dawn of The Modern Age.  The final act of the British Civil Wars took place in Appomattox Court House Virginia.  America has moved on.  No longer is half the nation ruled over by aristocratic families set upon White Columned Mansions upon a well-tended lawn, surrounded by monoculture cotton for export.  And no longer are “servants” (southern for “Slaves”) used as beasts of burden and fed and clothed by the products of the plantations themselves.  This medieval landscape had to die before the United States of America could come into its own.  The Confederacy for all its talk of “states rats” was essentially fighting against the triumph of the “bourgeois shopkeepers”.   It was men like Robert E. Lee, and Jefferson Davis who like Napoleon before them scorned the fighting spirit of the crass bourgeois Anglo-Saxon “shop keeps”. In case some have not noticed or have come to regret the fact, the North won.  And the results were not the South and the new west becoming a greater New England but instead an entirely new USA becoming a Continental Constitutional Republic of wealth, and power, on a level unseen in history. The New World, Atlantis perhaps, saved western Europe three times and continues to do so.
It is now no longer feasible to be as supreme as once we were. The inevitable occurred as new continental-sized states were ruthlessly unified by means of the various Isms’ of the Twentieth Century.  Now, there are nations the size and might of which have never been seen stomping over the face of the planet.  The Great Powers we reckoned with as a young nation were France, Britain, Spain, and Germany was not yet even a unified state yet.  The Framers never dreamed that nations with fabulous names from a mythic past, like Persia, India, China, or a backwards Russia would trod the earth like Behemoths. There are Chinese cities whose names we do not even know that have more people than Portugal, or Spain!

Yet, still the Atlantic and Pacific moats protect us.  But we will require the forward offensive Naval and Air Power to project our frontiers to the far side of those oceans. The Constitution requires in Article One, section 8, paragraph 13: “To provide and maintain a Navy”, and if they could envisage such a thing as an Air Navy, the Framers would surely have added that to the paragraph. Constitutional Libertarians need not be non-interventionalist in foreign policy.  The USA has evolved from a small group of semi-autonomous states clinging to the eastern seaboard to a Continental power with interests spanning the globe.  There is no example in history of a major power reaching an apogee and deciding that they shall step back a pace or two so as to “not be over there”.  Nations are like Dylan said about people, only more so, they are either “busy being born or busy dyin’”.  Major nations continue to strive or they begin to collapse.  There is never any middle course.   Maybe, President Paul, will thread that needle.  But, I would not trust his Austrian School fanaticism that sees all international borders as purely “illiberal” and arbitrary lines on a map. They are Constitutionalist (but only maybe, it appears the Articles of Confederation are starting to seem more to their liking!)  yet they do not abide Congress restricting the flow of labor, capital, and goods flowing unimpeded across our borders.  The Constitutional right of Congress “to regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes” though admitted by Dr. Paul, was said by him to be unwise policy.  I disagree.  There are those Austrian Scholars who giggle that we should be grateful to those people who wish to sell us the consumer goods we want for a price lower than American companies could provide.  The Doctor giggles, ‘should we ask them to charge us more?’ Problem is that the cheap imported goods are not so cheap, no, not so cheap at all.  Drive from Green Bay, down the western shore of Lake Michigan, past derelict plants.  Then visit South Chicago, where our current president prepared for the office by organizing the urban street.  Round the bend to Gary, Indiana, proceed through to Detroit, Toledo, Erie, across New York State past Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Utica; one long rusting blight of what was once the source of the might that created the wealth that when needed became the arsenal of democracy.  It lies like a bleeding corpse.  Perhaps a new “Industrial Ruins National Park” will revitalize the region?  This is the cost of ~giggle~ the Chinese not charging us enough for the goods we want.  Libertarianism in international affairs differs from Globalism in what particular manner?  Our Alex Jones’ friends, so vigilantly on guard against The New World Order Globalists, have somehow anointed Dr. Paul.  Yet he would do his best to facilitate freer trade if that were possible.  H would allow the last remnant of industry to be sucked out to China, and he would also reduce the size of our Navy facing this same hyper-industrializing China.

Dr. Paul’s unwavering loyalty to the doctrine of Free Trade is not the typical pragmatic Anglophone Way.  (It is interesting how Anglophobic paranoia fills Alex Jones’ clones; just as it did the isolationists in the early twentieth century.  Anglophobia unites illiberal attacks on the Modern Age both from the right and the left!, but that thought is for another time). Even Jefferson knew that theories must come second to the reality of statecraft.  He went beyond the Congress’ authority to purchase New Orleans and took up Napoleon’s offer for the entire Louisiana Territory. Would an ideologue make that compromise? 
Would Dr. Paul have looked beyond his ideology to base his decision on statesmanship?
As China begins to grow militarily into a potential major challenger to American dominance in the Pacific, the good Doctor prescribes harsh cuts in military spending.  When China pushes past the First Island Chain, if we allow the “Finlandization” of Japan, Taiwan, The Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam, we shall have a new border.  Not only will we be ineffectual at the southern border, with Mexico, we should then have a western border with China in California.

The Constitution is not a suicide pact, Lincoln commented.  Nor is Constitutional Libertarianism a philosophy dependent upon the generosity and peaceful intentions of others.  Radical Austrian Libertarianism would be, it ought to be discarded as just one more Utopian Ism.  Does he suggest private ships with Letters of Marque instead of the US Navy patrol the western Pacific?  Is he crazy?  We can and ought to be libertarian within our borders, but maintain supremacy in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.   And we also need to protect our people from having to compete with coolie labor in a race to the bottom.

Ironically, Hamilton, and Lincoln, now considered fiends by the Lew Rockwell, Ralph Raico, Von Mises intellectuals of the Austrian School are believed to have injected a virus of International (Jewisssh) Bankers into the United States.  Yet, they are the ones who were assassinated!  Imagine the conspiracy theories if Hamilton shot and killed Burr, or Jefferson!  Or if it was Jefferson Davis assassinated instead of Lincoln! Finally, the last straw for me, was the vile Jew hatred spewed last week by former CIA man Scheuer, a standard on Judge Napolitano’s show.  The Judge a Paulist and an Austrian, proved to me how essentially un-American Radical Austrian School Libertarianism is last week.  The vile anti-Semitic comments on the websites of Alex Jones, and on Facebook pages discussing St. Paul shows who these Theories attract.  No, I cannot blame Jones and the Facebook Pagemasters for the comments of their followers.  But, it would be foolish to pretend there is no connection between the Ism of Radical Libertarianism and the vile anti-Zionist, anti-Jew tide of filth.  The psychosis in the US between the Leftists worshippers of Obama, on the one hand and the spitting spew of anti-Jewish hatred on the anti-Globalist side is leaving a narrow almost untenable path.  Glenn Beck seems to be the sole guardian there.  Mark Levin is not a Libertarian, so though a Constitutionalist on many points, he is willing to use the Federal power to fight the drug war.  Forced to choose between the two “opposites” this country is committing suicide.

THE ABORTION TRAP AND THE CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS

The Abortion Issue has become a trap for Constitutionally Limited Libertarians. Because many derive the basis of Liberty as due to our being created in the image of the LORD, there are far more Bible Believers in the Conservative camp.

However, what does the Bible say about fetal life? Uncomfortably the Torah is not so clear.  In the King James Version we read:

Exodus 21 22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

23And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life.

This clearly differentiates the fruit (the fetus) departing her, on the one hand and the death of the pregnant woman so injured on the other.

 

In this interpretation one can argue that a fetus is not counted as a full soul. For a human being’s death is always to be avenged by blood, except if it is clearly accidental, and even then the manslayer must remain in a City Of Refuge until the death of the current High Priest. In addition, in Genesis man became a nefesh, a soul when Elohim breathed his breath of life into him. This could be argued to mean that not until the infant has taken his first breath is he/she a nefesh.

But clearly purely Torah Law does not define our moral stand on Abortion. And it is goes unaddressed in the rest of the Bible, Old or New Testament, probably because there was no technology to make it a choice.

We see it as a question of Life. When does Life come into existence? Is it immediately upon fertilization? Is it immediately when the sperm enters the egg, or is it when each single set of chromosomes joins with the other to form doubles. Or is it when the fertilized egg begins cell division when the first of the cells of the brand new and unique genome come into existence? Or is not until the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall? Or is it when a heartbeat is detected?

It seems arbitrary to assign any one of these landmarks as the Proof of Life.

How much power ought the President of the United States have over this controversial topic. Since many women are irrationally zealous in this matter, and appear to be willing to make the candidates’ position on this one issue the litmus test of their vote, we start every Presidential campaign down by a large percentage of the female vote. Why must we force our Candidates to make this an issue? How about if the National Republican Party simply states that since the Constitution is silent here, it is best left to the States to decide. Even the suggestion of recommendation of State Nullification would be good politics.

As we have it now, there are many voters, more female than male who would vote for anybody who publicly blesses Roe Vs Wade.

 

We cannot legislate morality. A nation rises and sinks with the morality of its people. The election of a moral leader, to govern an immoral nation that only pays lip service to  ”trite” moral “banalities”, will fail, because he /she cannot move the people. He might inspire to some degree. But when it comes down to it, if someone’s teenage girl comes home pregnant, that family is going to do what they’re going to do. Am I in favor of that? No. But American politics has rarely been so Idealistic as to be cut and dry based on Idealism or any ISM. The blood of the practical Yankee still flows though our veins.

 

I am a believer in the Bible. I do not believe the Bible would have been so fervidly concerned with future generations slipping back into Moloch worship, or Baal worship, unless it were a real threat.

Since the Bible does stipulate a great falling away in the latter days, these abominations will be present.  We ought to look for their fulfillment not in strange New Age pagan temples; but to our modern substitutes for Temples. MD’s donning ritually treated robes, performing ritual ablutions, wearing sterile nets over their shoes (as if on Holy Ground), adorned with lights affixed to their heads like Egyptian hieroglyphs, with stethoscopes worn on their shoulders, are surely the Priests of the Twenty-first Century!  The Pagan Temples are disguised as Hospitals.  The fires of Moloch are not in some mystic druidic grove, but in the Hospital mortuary. The unwanted products of pregnancy are burned; whether or not specifically for Moloch, is immaterial, but he is being served, well and often.

The Constitution was written for a Moral People whose morals were roughly grounded in the Protestant religion. Now that we have become a Post-Christian nation, are we to be expected to remain a Constitutional Republic?

The best recourse in regard to Abortion is to return the issue to the States. Those States that limit abortions will do so; others will not. People will vote with their fetuses. The morally healthy states will gain economically, and demographically. The immoral statist thugocracies will go bankrupt, go into federal receivership. The moral Life-Respecting States will enjoy the blessings of God.

God has given us Free Will. We cannot prevent abortion. It only is driven underground. We must no longer be ashamed to offer unsolicited moral scolding when required. Instead of this PC crap, that seeks to shut us up about these kinds of issues, that needs to be ignored, or even mocked away; we need to return to the social forces that enforced the unspoken core of social norms. For three generations there has been an assault on the natural centripetal forces that maintain social stability. This organic self-ordering of society is based upon unwritten laws and relationships. The sociologists have made it their work, and the prime directive for Higher Education to convince us that because our particular social norms are sometimes merely arbitrary, that they all are. Once the arbitrariness of Social Convention is made explicit, it is deracinated; rendered impotent. Why should Mexicans assimilate? Why shouldn’t teens have sex? Why shouldn’t they think of Abortion as like a root canal, an uncomfortable but morally neutral procedure?

 

When Societies have come to question every unspoken norm, the sole provider of the centripetal force keeping cohesion is The Government. Legal relationships replace social ones. Only courts can order punishment for breaking written laws. Ostracizing is being attacked as a hate crime, and bullying is being elevated to Terrorist Status. But without organic enforcement of societal norms all that is left is Totalitarian Political rules for every single issue.  This is why we have made a litigious society.  We have no social recourse outside of the Written Laws.  Thus we need Police to settle family arguments, and Judges to enforce settlements, Prisons to place those who if scolded when 11, wouldn’t be incarcerated at 21.

We need less politeness.  We must have less fear to judge those whose behavior is unfitting with our culture.  It ought not be us who feels embarrassed to admit we believe in God, and in the existence of absolute Good and Evil.  Let us not abdicate our responsibility to pass down the memes of Western Civilization as we pass down our physical genes.  And let us remember that we could become the first nationality to abort itself out of existence!

But if we do so, we have voted with our fetuses.  We have voted for the joys of the two-income household un-restricted by the needs of a child.  Or we have voted for slutty shacking up without any sense of founding a family. Whether or we not we seek to feel good about ourselves by voting for a Morals President, what matters is whether or not  we are leading moral lives, in our moral communities.

4th Reich and Seventy Years Ago

And just like that, Phoenix-like, Germany struts over Europe denouncing the Anglo-Saxons!  The 4th Reich is goose-stepping in wing-tips business shoes, for now.  But one wonders how long before Jackboots are the fashion?

America has not learned what Britain has learned over a millennium.  Though kin in regard to Western Civilization, and though the Anglosphere overlaps greatly with European Civilization, neither the British nor Americans ought to conflate them.  For a millennium the English Speaking World has had to defend the best of the West from the would-be continental hegemon that seems to crop up in every generation.  From the Holy Roman Empire of Charlemagne, through the Long War against Spanish Catholic Power (in which Britain gained her first sense of self); through balancing French pretensions under the Sun King, and keeping lonely vigil as an Island off the coast of Napoleon’s Continental System, fighting, always fighting, paying to keep others in the fight, unwavering before the French Nation In Arms; to having to assist France in her powerlessness to balance a unified Germany; to the Great War, where the British Expeditionary Force paid with the blood of a lost generation to prevent German Hegemony; to again standing vigil, awaiting help from any direction, sustained by a slim tether to British Canada and the great English speaking Republic across the Atlantic.  Together the Armies of the English speaking nations conquered Rome, Paris, Aix La Chapelle, the seat of Charlemagne’s First Reich, now called Aachen, the scene of fierce fighting in WW2, and liberated Europe.  Combining the scientific intelligence of the Anglophones, with those who fled Hitler’s Europe allowed Britain and America to work together to develop the A-Bomb; liberating China and Southeast Asia from the Red Sun, without having to invade Japan’s home islands: these are the accomplishments of the people who have spread through every continent, bringing the sense of Cricket and Fairness, Law and Order and Fairness, Civil Service Education to leave behind a State operating in Fairness, knitted together with Railroads, Colleges, roads, canals and every positive feature we call The Modern.   Together we have been the bulwarks against Communist advance into a Europe still smoldering from Hitler’s War.  Despite French recalcitrance and fighting every inch of the way, we saw Europe through to the end of the USSR, and the re-unification of Germany.  Thatcher had qualms about a reunified Germany; as did European leaders.  A united Germany fully integrated into a European Union would be safe; it was thought.  The innumerable strands and cords of Trade and Financial interrelatedness forcing German workers with their strong ethic  to prop up Grecian Holidays are beginning to fray.  The strings of connectedness may soon feel to Germany much as the enmeshing strings and ropes felt to Gulliver.

It is evident that their one and only aim is in this way to promote Anglo-Saxon interests at Europe’s cost.” “They want to shatter the eurozone, in order to make money,” he added.”  Not since Hitler’s “Second Book” have I read such “in-your-face” anti-Angloism.  We have become used to “Yankee Go Home”  ”Down with Gringo” in Cinco-de-Mayo fiestas in the USA.  Burning US, and British and Israeli flags might at least cause the UN’s IPCC Climate Lie Council to ask the peoples of south Asia to knock it off.  But, when it is coming from Europe, it is just a bit jolting.  ”Oh yeah; we have much in common with European Civilization, but we are the other great strand of Western Civilization; the Anglosphere”.   We better be sure to remember that whether or not we forget, they will never.  They, with their ISM’s and Utopias, always seeking to find the right Person to reform them into the Right People to Reform the World in Their Image!  WE, and our nations of shop keepers, whigs, protestants, community-spirited volunteerism are just lacking in Pomp and Glory that Europe so craves.  

WELL, WE somehow thought that a United States Of Europe would be an automatic friend of the United States of America.  Now, we shall learn that Europe and the Anglosphere are two trees that have grown entangled.  Perhaps at different times in the year, different flowers may make the difference clear; most of the time however, a close inspection of similar but differentiated leaves is required, and one must carefully follow one vine as it wraps and climbs upon the other.

How Many Dollars a Barrel Ought the World Pay to Prevent Iran From Having the Ability To Nuke Tel Aviv?

Here comes the demonic darkness, dimming the vision and beginning to blind patriotic Americans.

We have become accustomed to the Leftist, postmodernist rejection of religion and God; and its concomitant contempt for the Constitution and the Classical Liberal philosophy that was its foundation.  The very idea of “a Creator” would drive the leftist into a raging spittle-spewing demon.  To dare state that American, and all human Liberty is derived from our Creator creating us in His image and thus with rational minds is to contradict the Statists’ view that Government allows certain “freedoms” as deemed best for the nation as a whole.  They substitute License for Liberty.  One is contingent upon the government’s benevolence or need; the other is contingent upon no man, only God.

Conservatives in America have become so accustomed to the link between the Protestant understanding of the Bible and our own Political Philosophy that we have become as unaware of it as we do to the Cicada or the buzzing flies on a summer day: we only notice when they stop.  The Left, postmodernist, Globalist, anti-libertarian, anti-private property, morally agnostic and relativistic have long ago relegated the Bible to a vessel that they fill with whatever meaning they see fit to fill it with.  The Cicada’s silence “freed” them generations ago.  The place once filled with values of the Protestant bourgeoisie suddenly was empty.  Startled as abruptly as the sudden silence of a summer day when the Cicada shuts up, an acute vacuum opened in their core.  Nature ever abhorrent of vacuums created a powerful thirst, and The Darkness provided the bitter wine of which they imbibed deeply.  All the various potions: Marxism, Socialism, Fascism, Communism, Secular Humanism, Darwinism, Freudianism, Secular Antinomianism, Environmentalism, Globalism, even banal consumerism; all were guzzled and mixed to the point of cultural insanity.

That was the Left.  We, the men and women of America who still cherished Liberty, and recognized our historical, political and philosophical Exceptionalism dismissed the Left as nothing more than potheads and the terminally hip.  We mocked them as they stolidly made their own Long March through the nodes of cultural influence: Education, the Media, and Entertainment etc.  We mocked them for their Political Correctness.  We became alarmed when our children came home from elementary school to chastise us, their parents for destroying the planet!  And worse, after sending them off to expensive Universities they came home as snarling and self-righteous and “caring” with a studied pose of jadedness, as if… !  As if they had ever missed a single meal other than accidentally while partying; as if, as if they had calluses on any part of their hands other than the left finger tips from guitars.  Having majored in Victimology of some kind, they were now “enlightened” and shockingly there is little career potential in those fields, other than Government Work or University Work.  Or they majored in Liberal Arts, which is fine if one seeks to become a Gentleman.  But a “Gentleman” is one who has no lowly commercial interests, i.e. is independently wealthy.  After buying highly inflated college tuitions, based on the extreme and soon to be seen as false wealth represented in their parents’ houses, it turns out that they spent too much of what proved less than imagined to gain that which also was less than it could ever repay.  In other words they were rooked.  But as only a con can be conned, our Yutes believed that the college degree would punch their ticket to the McMansion, BMW, vacation home lifestyle of their parents (who consumed 25% of the world’s resources while being only 5% of the world’s population; as they were browbeaten with in Green Justice Class, Sustainable Business Practices Class, Community Organizing For A Small Planet 101 etc. etc. and etc. and so on.)
Yes, we the American people noticed, we finally had enough and Tea Party groups began to spring up.  We were “mad as Hell and were not going to take it anymore!”
Glenn Beck with his chalkboards, chock full of nuts, arranged as Organizational Charts as if in some interplanetary traveling circus, focused the vague and deep sense of unease that had now begun to grip American-Americans.  (If you have to ask what that phrase “American Americans” means, you probably have stopped reading this, if you had ever started!  This is not a race thing as much as our foes wish to cast it as such.  It is The Vision Thing!  Remember the Vision Thing?  It was what George Bush Sr. was said to lack, by the media of course.  And his son apparently lacked it too, if by “Vision” we mean old-fashioned Constitutional Liberty.)  Despite the Left’s virulent denial, there is indeed an American culture.  There is an American Nation, just as there is a Japanese nation, or a Swedish nation.  Though racially heterogeneous, we have our own nationality: it is not necessarily Church-going Sunday Protestantism, nor any other particular religion.  However our culture has retained the values intrinsic to the Puritans, to a lesser degree.  We are an English-speaking nation and cannot understand why that is controversial.  We are not ideologues.  We believe that it is merely normal that free people may buy and sell and enjoy their private property howsoever they wish, so long as they do not violate anyone else’s liberty to do the same.  The minority who sit around discussing these things will call it “Free Enterprise”.  We do not understand the current vilification of “Capitalism” that is now on display everywhere.  “Capitalism” is a trick word, that if used concedes the argument.  Liberty and the free exchange of goods and services that rational self-interested humans practice is merely the natural state of Humanity.  To tag it as an “Ism” is to force it to contend with all the various flavors of Statism.  This is a false argument.  There is either Liberty or an Ism!

So what has happened?  Just as American-Americans were awakening to realize that they have been the target of several generations of gradual attack by Globalist, anti-Americans, and noticing that it was the same cast of Non-Profit Groups run incestuously by members of each other’s boards of directors with links to the same “Charitable Trusts”; we were about to reclaim the nation!  But something happened.

Suddenly a similar silencing of the Cicadas occurred in the minds of the conservative American-Americans.  After years of steady attack upon the reputation of America, many once stalwart defenders went AWOL.  Why?  How?  Well, America itself changed, this is true.  As the products of the public schools and Universities entered the financial trades, and already having been “taught” how cronyism underlies all “Capitalism”, they believed it and acted as such and made it a self-fulfilling prophecy.  One must recall that many “called” to the financial trade rather than other more productive trades, say like Engineering, are called by promises of lucre.  Many will not even admit that!  They just “happened” to find Corporate Law “interesting”.  And certainly many do; just as many Proctologists find their calling “Fascinating”, too.

OK I admit America’s innocence was deeply compromised by Yuppiedom.  Yet, still, in the Big Picture, America has lifted more people out of third world poverty to undreamt prosperity if only they could get in!

9/11.  9/11.  9/11/2001: A far more Infamous Day than December 7th occurred.   It was clear that Muslim extremists of Al-Qaida attacked us.  Yes a few “tin-foil hats” questioned the veracity of this conclusion.  But the majority did not.  The concept that the US Government could mount an attack on itself in order to justify an occupation of the Middle East was almost treasonous, certainly ludicrous.
However now, after ten years have elapsed, we see the full power of the United States military, police and surveillance turning inward and focusing upon us!  This is true.  The Patriot Act that passed in the first frightened passion of the moment was excusable, perhaps.  But now coldly renewed and made stronger it has given the government far greater extra-judicial powers than even Lincoln assumed during the Civil War.  Why?
In retrospect, visible only recently, 9/11 marked the beginning of the end of The Constitutional Republic.  Too many plans too well developed were too quickly rolled out.  Gradually a drip of a question here, and a drop there began to become a drizzle.  When Obama, who ran against Bush’s national security state and its seeming perpetual wars was elected and nothing changed, the question of deeper government conspiracy became less and less “tin-foil hat” fodder.  When information about Fast and Furious was slowly extracted from the Department of Justice with the ease of pulling teeth, there seemed to be Eric Holder’s fingerprints all over a scheme to ship guns into Mexico where a bloody drug war was already raging in order to “justify” limiting the Second Amendment either through Federal Legislation, Regulation or even by presidential Treaty!
The Oklahoma City Bombing was a handy visual aid in the representation of a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.  Eric Holder was Clinton’s Assistant Attorney General.  There is more and more evidence that this at best was a Federal sting operation to roundup the Aryan Republican Army (ARA) which escaped and took on its own life and goal; and at worse a deliberate false flag operation from the beginning designed to cause outrage against “white supremacists” and all Constitutionalists.

We, Patriotic Americans who love America because it stands for Liberty and not just because it is our homeland, have had to consider some uncomfortable facts.  In light of the results of 9/11; Fast & Furious’ connection to Eric Holder, and Eric Holder’s connection with Oklahoma City it is impossible to remain an unquestioning loyal citizen.  Suddenly our belief in America was shaken.  The years and years of Leftist propaganda suddenly seemed believable.  America is imperfect.  But has it become evil?

Clearly there is a Globalist Agenda being erected.  The two parties are becoming merely the two wings of a vulture.  Many folks with principles resisted the Blame-America-First and the Politically Correct hipsters.  But it is part of the Media’s power to work on our need for peer recognition, to be cool.  Face it: being a libertarian interested in history, religion, and political philosophy is not the description of someone who is “cool” in the MTV world.   Constantly defending American history in the face of libel after libel is wearisome.  And now, when it seems that indeed in the last quarter of the 20th century America was set on a course leading towards the creation of and merging with Global Government, we are caught out, holding a stinking bag.
It reminds me of my support of Mel Gibson.  Being from a Jewish family who all “knew” Mel was an anti-Semite, I supported him.  Yes, The Passion of The Christ shows Jesus being handed over to the Romans by “The Jews”.  Yes, this is exactly the charge that anti-Semites have laid at Jewish feet for two millennia.  But every character of importance in the New Testament is a Jew!  The protagonists and antagonists; all were Jews.  Mel’s film was an adaptation of a nun’s “visions” or dreams.  I was told I was naïve.  And when Mel was soused and arrested for DWI and spouted out vile Jew hatred I felt like he left me holding the bag.  I have not had many kind thoughts toward him since!
It is some of this kind of reaction to the partial correctness of the Left’s long held Anti-Americanism that has made many of us feel stuck holding the bag for American virtue.  It is reasonable to expect some of us to react reflexively and become as equally disdainful of America as we once were of the Left.  The Crony Corporatism that probably began long ago became visible in the George W. Bush years; and flowered into its full bloom under Obama.  Is it a wonder that some of us are in agreement with the Left?  Unfortunately no.  But it is an illusion.  The Left’s beef was with Free Enterprise itself, which is merely a description of the self-assembling economic system of free and rational people; thus its beef is with Liberty.  It is unfortunate that many of us did not appreciate the difference between disgust with Crony Corporatism and anger at Free Enterprise.  But both the hard right and left of Europe, unlike here in America have always shared a place of blame for The International Jews.

As the erosion of the Exceptionalism of the American economy proceeds apace it appears that only a deliberate policy to accomplish this would have this effect.  It is impossible to believe that Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush and “brilliant economists” can be so wrong so often.  And the debating candidates all seem to be saying that the Deindustrialization of America is due to our not having their particular Tax plan. That is patently ridiculous.
It is becoming clear that there are those who are deliberately attempting to bring down the USA.  Why?  It is because only the USA can thwart the coming Global Government.  And only the free and armed America People can thwart the American traitors who seek to place America in chains.  Therefore we must be disarmed.  Therefore they did Fast and Furious; therefore OK City.  Only a powerful police state can stifle America’s unique and prickly demand for liberty and independence.  In this light is it totally impossible for certain elements to have known and allowed Al-Qaida’s attack on 9/11?  No!  It is not impossible.
“But what about Israel, and the Jews? “ I ask.  Suddenly there is convergence of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism from the Right and the Left.   Both from those who stand for The Constitution and American Sovereignty and their opposite numbers who wish to see America cut down to size, not too much, but just enough to keep her strong enough to fight their wars and pull their economies, but not enough to shake the saddle off her back.

The Constitutionalists correctly in many ways have had enough of America being the military force of the integrated commercial entity called The West.  WWII now a dim black and white memory, and the Cold War only slightly less remote to today’s yutes, it is not self evident why we have bases in more than a hundred nations.

Yes, the Military-Industrial -Riot Squad needed somewhere to go: and Afghanistan and Iraq seemed to be the new Desolation Row.  Those who saw all this for what it was were not satisfied blaming good old greed on the part of the MI Complex.  No, there “has to be” more sinister forces that include greed but other motivations, too.  We were making the world safe for the Western commercial entity.  And who runs that?  Here it comes: International Bankers.  And to many, too many, a quick association word that precedes International Banker is “Jew”.  The meme of the Cosmopolitan International Jewish bankers has come back into fashion.  It is as if a statute of limitations on the Holocaust has expired.
The charge of “racism” was used to intimidate Constitutionalists, so too was “Anti-Semite” used to disparage anyone daring to criticize Israeli policy.  With Obama elected and making a mockery of The Constitution, it was no longer possible to intimidate American-Americans with the “Racist” epithet.  No, not since the Reverend Wright’s rants were seen as blatant racism without quotes!  Once the dam broke, apparently other self-stifled emotions and beliefs came to the fore.  No longer will some be intimidated by the threat of being called anti-Semite for disapproval of Israel.  The Holocaust’s talisman to ward off anti-Jewish speech has faded.  We are seen as being in the Middle East in the service of Israel!  This is the ludicrous charge of the Constitutionalist wing of the anti-Zionists.  Not just Israel but the Jewish Banking Cabal, (and the Queen of England and the Queen of the Netherlands, and the Fed, and The City in London, and the Vatican) has attached itself to America as a parasite to a beetle (I saw that on Facebook.)  But it is the Zionists and the “Off Shore Banking Interests” (whisper: Jews) that is putting the US Navy in the Straight of Hormuz.
No, it is not the Zionists.  Yes, perhaps the Commercial Entity of The West is seeking to regain a level of power in the entire Near East lost in the period of decolonization after WW2.  Is it Iranian nukes?  Yes, partially that is true, but not because they may hit Israel.  The World has shown itself to be quite capable of clicking its tongue after Jewish genocide, and quickly returning to business as usual.  No, despite Alex Jones et al if the US and Iran go to war it will be by much the same mechanism that brought the Japanese to visit Hawaii on the second- most infamous day in history.  It was sanctions on gasoline exports to Japan that set the clock ticking to war.  At a certain time after a gasoline embargo, Japan’s navy and air force would become inoperable.  The Western Commercial System is now gearing up to stop gasoline imports to Iran.  (Yes they sit on an ocean of oil, but they have never bothered to invest in refining.)  The Europeans get a larger percentage of their oil from the Persian Gulf than we do.  Are the Europeans suddenly lovers of Israel and the Jewish People?  I think not.  Then what justifies this risk?  Rather than fearing an Iranian nuclear attack on Tel Aviv, over which there would be much public hand wringing, condolences and severe scoldings in the UN ; the fear is that Israel herself will strike Iran out of desperation.  This would perhaps set the entire Muslim World on fire; bring in China and Russia, force Turkey to choose NATO or a greater role in the Muslim world and many other bad consequences.  The least bad option is the tightening of sanctions.  This may result in Iran making good its threat to close the Straight of Hormuz; or it may not.  It may result in Iran’s return to talks and a moratorium on nuclear research, or it may not. Every other course definitely means a major war and a huge spike in oil prices.
If Iran makes good its threats and initiates war with the West, there will be a rising cry against The Jews?  If gas hits  $10, $15 a gallon and the economy tanks faster than the new normal rate of decline how long before the OWS crowds really get going on the Swastika thing.  (There was one clear false-flag Hitler -lover at the actual Wall St. OWS, who of course attracted TV cameras like flies to honey.  But he was openly mocked by the crowd.)
If the SHTF in the Straight of Hormuz, though it will be fought by The West only in furthering its own interests.  Nevertheless it will be blamed on the Zionists, Neo-Cons, and Jewish Bankers.  As Alex Jones asks “Who benefits?”  Does Israel?  Surely Hezbollahistan and Hamaza will join the party.  If Iranian or Syrian ICBM’s even of non-nuclear warheads inflicts massive casualties in Tel Aviv, it is not impossible that Damascus would be nuked.  Does this kind of mad cap scenario remotely sound like it is in Israel’s interests?  Israel wants nothing more than to begin drilling and extracting the gas in the massive field found in her Mediterranean waters.

The calculus I hear from the Ron Paul/Alex Jones wing of the American-Americans is that our support of “Israeli interests” in the Gulf will cause $500-$700 oil.  Remember the Left’s “No blood for oil”?  They reversed themselves when it was Obama’s War and Libyan blood; and Newsweek’s cover greedily asked “And now what about that the oil?”  And now it is how many dollars a barrel is “protecting” Israel from Iranian nukes worth?  Not many, apparently answer The Clones of Jones).
Ironically, everything the Conservatives stood for against the Left was derived from a belief in the God of the Bible.  But now we see the once high-minded Conservatives link hands with the Left against the Jews, the Chosen People of the God of the Bible!  Libertarian sounding Constitutionalists on the same boat (figuratively) as the Flotilla: Code Pink, Soros funded, Samantha Power supported!

The World was willing to give over Yeshua to keep the peace in Roman Judea.  And, The World is willing to give over Israel to keep the “peace” in the Persian Gulf!

For a Nationalist Constitutionalist Libertarian

My problem with Ron Paul is his libertarian orthodoxy. He admits in “End The Fed” that the Constitution gives the Congress authority to regulate trade with foreign nations. His Austrian School ideology claims Free Trade is the only MORAL policy a free people can accept. (Article One, Section eight.)
A Statesman must not allow idealism to overwhelm the clear national interest. No one has an “Interestometer”, that somehow determines a singular best national policy. A Statesman must have his moral compass, but must also lead by gut too. We are humans and not purely rational un-embodied minds. Jefferson Himself, sainted by Libertarians purchased the entire Louisiana Territory from Napoleon though Congress had authorized him to only negotiate for New Orleans. Would Ron Paul have been statesman or ideologue in this case?
Free Trade is absolutely not a logical necessity of Libertarianism; unless the very concept of a national border itself is considered an infringement and an imposition. In that case, despite being Philosophically opposed, the absolute identical policy would be enacted by The Globalist as by the Libertarian!
Since The Constitution gives the Congress the authority to determine a Trade Policy for the United States, the lack of any meaningful policy, i.e. Free Trade, is in and of itself a policy. The only question is, is it a wise policy, is it good for America?
Ayn Rand would ask “For whom?” “For whom is Policy A beneficial, and to whom is it harmful?” Yes, there are winners and losers in any Trade Policy; but as we just established Free Trade itself is a Trade Policy. Only the Congress having abdicated its Constitutional Role has removed Trade from the proper political consideration it deserves. As the writers of the Federalist Papers hoped, a continental-sized Republic would have so many clashing interests that no one single interest could dictate to the rest. Thus, the nasty appearing sausage machinery of political horse trading allows for the closest approximation to “The Common Interest”. It doesn’t require the presumed clairvoyance of the popular leader who can divine the Common Interest or the technocrat with the non-existent “Interestometer”; it makes no claim to perfection. Humbly, the Framers never strove for Idealistic Perfection. Our Constitution is not for Angels, but for self-interested and rational humans with at least some degree of morality.
Free Trade is pernicious. It virtually allows for Human Sacrifice of entire swathes of the nation; the so-called Rust Belt; in order to support its Ideology; and the multinational corporations. Conservatives recall when companies made things. That was what they defined themselves as: car makers, airplane makers, clothing makers etc. But, with the rise of huge mega-corporations owned by shareholders, the only thing necessarily created is increased worth of the stock. That is the sole fiduciary responsibility of the Board; to maximize the worth of the stock; period. If that requires closing US Factories and either building new ones in Asia, or by entirely leaving the manufacturing business and changing into an import and distribution system; then that is what must be done. MUST, because of Fiduciary Law!
I bet most individual stock holders, and most individual CEO’s hired by the Board would love to maintain the production within the USA, if they could. But since American Law allows it, they must avail themselves of the ability to outsource manufacturing to Asia to either coolie, peon or outright slave labor! Only by making it less profitable by adding import duties to reflect the price that American labor would be paid, and the cost of conforming to American regulatory diktats, can US manufacturing be re-booted.
When smarmy Free Trade advocates ask us why we should be angry at China for providing us with this or that consumer good at a quality and price unmatched by US production, we must point to the Rust Belt, the sky-rocketing unemployment, and underemployment, the rise of a dependent population enthralled to Government for handouts, and thus effectively leashed to Big Government political parties. That is what cheap imports cost!
The so-called High Tech and Service Economy that was going to replace the Industrial heartland has not materialized. The economic system that once allowed an average intelligent, high school graduate who played by the rules a chance to work in industry and afford to pay down a real mortgage on real property to raise a family and save for retirement and his kids’ college has been sacrificed at the alter of Wall Street and Libertarian Orthodoxy.
We need a Constitutional Nationalist; as Pat Buchanan represented. We need to reign in the Globalist/military/ security/ industrial/ pharmaceutical Complex. Ron Paul is only half the answer.
Who will put America ahead of Free Trade Ideology, as well as ahead of Globalist Foreign Policy? Where is the Pat Buchanan conservative constitutionalist to go?

The Progressive Aztecs

A small seemingly obvious recommendation is made:”Please vote for who you think will serve your interests the best.”

None of the candidates from either party ask this of us. They ask us to believe that they have the Answer to “Jobs” or to “Debt” and have the best plan for America. We have been conditioned to think it a civic virtue to ponder just what is the best policy for the USA. We, the people have a difficult time determining if we want “fries with that”. WE the people have a difficult time deciding whether its Your Family or MY family who gets us for Thanksgiving!

This is not to belittle us, the people. The Erudite Economist Professors disagree on what constitutes the Best economic policy. For one reason, they do not publicly at least, ask “For whom?” For every government decision or non-decision (in cases in which there is due Constitutional authority [like Trade!!!], some will benefit some will lose. Hopefully no one will lose too much!

But we have been led down the false path of believing that the Constitution was written in order to allow those with the nation’s best interests to be chosen. It is NOT VIRTUOUS to “ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU; BUT RATHER WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY”. It sounds all altruistic, and Good. But Altruism is always asked of We, The People, by those who hide and plot under its virtuous sound.

I am fairly sure JFK did not mean to recommend that we re-organize our society to be more in line with say a bee hive or an ant hill, where every individual is but a means to a larger entity. BUT that is what his pretty words would mean if fully applied.

IT is not our Civic Duty to stroke our chins, and parse the candidates rolling rhetorical words and words and words, pondering what is the Best Course For The Republic! NOBODY KNOWS IF THERE EVEN IS “A” BEST COURSE; AND IF THERE WERE, WHAT IT WOULD CONSIST OF!

Our Civics classes (until they just substituted Sex Ed. for them) spoke of The Citizens’ Responsibility to elect the Best Candidates for the Nation, State, County, City, and Town. But they never asked us to ask “FOR WHOM?” “Best for whom?”

 

This is the flaw that is ruining our nation: The presumed view from above “uncorrupted by self-interest” that the politicians are supposed to have. Our Society has crossed some threshold in which it has become conscious of being a society. “Experts” in Sociology, Economics, and the other soft “sciences” have flown high above ground level to bring us a view of “objectivity”. Notice these experts always are knowledgeable of what is Best For The Nation as a whole and never ask “for whom?”! Having flown so high they look down on all human societies as being equally arbitrary in their make up. Languages are just arbitrary sounds upon which meaning is attributed to those of a certain culture. “Wealth” (always in parentheses) is equally arbitrary, whether it is in the form of goats, wampum, coinage, Credit Default Swaps etc. And the distribution of wealth is considered equally arbitrarily assigned by the persons in authority of the culture. And indeed, the selection of who has the power is equally arbitrary, from their “god’s-eye” view. Thus only the outer symbology differs from a cannibalistic headhunter society in New Guinea’s highlands and a New England settlement in the Pilgrim’s time.

Once people with such “lofty” worldviews come to power they can make statements like Obama’s Mark Lloyd (head of the FCC’s minorities committee) that “it is time for some to give up power to allow others a turn”.

All of this comes from a Political Process warped by a demand for ALTRUISM. We need to ask ourselves which candidate espouses a policy that would benefit me. That is what the framers of the Constitution expected! It was designed to allow the approximation of the determination of the best policies to be made by self-interested rational humans; not saints! When you hear any Politician ask for sacrifice for a greater good, RUN!

Ancient Cultures practiced actual human sacrifice. The only thing that prevents that from being considered by the Altruists is the lack of belief in the efficacy of the practice. But, If Human Sacrifice did work; imagine what an Altruist-based morality would produce?  Perhaps the Aztecs, Incas, Moloch and Baal worshippers were politically advanced Progressives?

ON OWS Pepper-spraying Police

If UC Davis were not run as a Leftist nursery school, students would be taught that liberty requires responsible citizens.

If these “students” were busy learning, instead of acting as if they know-it-all already, they’d be in their dorms.  Be that as it may, the callous spraying of Pepper gas by Police-Thugs on useless idiots, though hard to resist, ought to have been.

Now, the Police have done the students a favor.  They have created individuals who for the rest of their lives will boast that they were amongst the Pepper Sprayed Heroes of UC Davis.  And the Police have provided a “cause” though a few might realize that the spraying occurred after occupation began, rather than before.  But, it will provide great talking points to replace the inarticulate “reasons” for Occupying Anywhere!

If the University were not run by its own or similar institutions’ grads, perhaps the students illegally occupying campus property could have been suspended or expelled from University.  Occupation is not Free Speech.  It is the coercive taking of property over which the Occupiers have zero rights.  Demonstrations, and assemblies to express grievances are constitutionally protected.  Express the grievance and then move on!  By Occupying they are exceeding the Bill Of Rights meaning of freedom to petition the government.   “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

This Right, to peacefully assemble to petition the government for a redress of grievance does not in anyway whatsoever make the forceful trespass and “occupation” of property a protected right.

For one, no particular grievance is articulated. “Occupation” is not an end in itself, surely.  They are not protesting a presumed University Rule against “Occupation”?  No, they have a myriad of grievances.  So many that it is impossible for any serious dialogue to take place; so many that it is impossible to imagine what set of compromises would satisfy their grievances.  This is deliberate.
Intelligencia typically eschew particular grievances.  No, Revolutionaries, (now euphemistically called “Community Organizers”) seek to delegitimize the entire “system”.  That which to we the American citizens, appears not to be a “System” so much as the result of economic and social activities of free people, is considered by Revolutionary Doctrine to be “Market Capitalism”.  By placing their “Ism” on the end of Capitalism, they have defined Liberty to be just another flavor of ideology.  Whereas to the vast majority of Americans and to the English-speaking world in general, the ideas expressed in the American Declaration of Independence have become internalized.  “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Thus to us, Liberty is fundamental. It has primacy of place over any individual political philosophy in which individuals choose to invest their liberty.  Thus Revolutionaries elevating their particular “ism” to an equal standing with “capitalism” are actuality demeaning Liberty; as being merely one more particular political system!  This is the dirty secret of the “Occupy Wall Street” Movement.  It is not a failing on their part that they have no particular grievance; it is part of their strategy!  For any particular grievance can be redressed; but a System must be overthrown!

But to return to the Davis UC issue, these useful idiots turned out by public schools and most private schools too, have minds completely plastic, the better to be remoulded nearer the heart’s desire of the Socialists that have burrowed through our education and entertainment industries.

The Fabian Society, which favoured gradual (socialist) change rather than revolutionary change, was named – at the suggestion of Frank Podmore – in honour of the Roman general Fabius Maximus (nicknamed “Cunctator”, meaning “the Delayer”). It appears as if the time to strike has come!  A century of scheming, of infiltrating the nodes of society in schools, colleges and universities, in Hollywood, in the Media, even the many doctrinally weak Churches and Synagogues with their Eco/Marxist sermons, everywhere one turns one is affronted by The Message.  They have gradually steered the United States of America The Great Republic straddling the oceans, into a state of dependency; if only in people’s minds.  How often have I heard that we can not reclaim our right to legislate Trade Policy designed to re-industrialize America dismissed as ridiculous; since the globe has shrunk all  nations must be interdependent.  Friedman, Thomas (not Milton!) has made a career preaching that the United States despite the resources of an entire continent is somehow dependent on international trading partners.  Like the words “Isolationism”, and “America First”,  ”Mercantilism” too is presumed “bad” or “old-fashioned”.  Yet, naming one who wishes to restore the Congress’ Power to formulate Trade Policy a “Mercantilist” is not an argument!  The US Constitution Article I, section 8 gives this authority to the people’s representatives.  It is becoming somewhat less clear to many Americans that though we can be energy independent (with real energy, not perpetual motion machines running on Government money!), we are not allowed.  Though we import everything from Computers, Chips, Shoes and Socks, consumer goods of all kinds, we have “9″% unemployment.  But really counting those who have given up, more like 20%, and a massive trade deficit.  It might occur to someone that both problems are one and the same.  The Free Trade Ideal that we would be a high tech nation providing the world with scientific breakthroughs and financial and insurance products has proven to be laughable.  The geniuses who thought that up, obviously were not the average American with High School behind him and maybe a year or two at a Community College.  An Industrial workforce once allowed these men and women of average intellect, ambition, or education an opportunity to earn a living, enough to support a family, buy a home, a car, save for kids education etc.  But we must not even think about why it is we cannot return to that!  Did anyone ask us if we wished to become a multiethnic nation, or even become minorities in the land our forefathers settled?  I recall as a child seeing Chinese people outside of the Chinese Restaurant or Laundry milieu and my mother saying “don’t stare”.  Now, in Long Island, in Roosevelt Field we, descendants of  Europeans who have internalized the English language and mindset are dwarfed by wealthy Persians, Indians, Chinese.  Those who say an Independent America no longer is possible in this shrinking globe, will also say that though Mexicans have Mexico, Chinese have China, and Persians have Iran, and Indians India, Americans must have no place of our own. To even suggest that Americans are a particular national culture is not acceptable in “polite company”.  Were we asked?  Or did we lose a war?  For this influx of foreigners is to a degree seen after military conquests.
But people are asking questions.  The Globalists are now moving quickly to seal the deal.  America must be fully trussed and bridled before we fully awaken.   Like Satan cast down, he is in a rage, knowing his time is short!  OWS is the hope that the bottom up chaos can be used to justify the top down Police State.  Be warned.

Letter to Ms. Bachmann, and Mr. Buchanan: Go Michele Go! Pat Sell Your Book and Change the Ending

The fixation on various Tax Schemes by the GOP candidates is a mystery to me.  How it seems self-evident to them that our current economic difficulties are due to imperfections in the Tax Code is not so clear to me.  “Jobs, jobs jobs” is the mantra.  What is the cost of cheap Tee shirts from Vietnam, cheap Solar Panels and Computers and Tee shirts and everything else from China?  How is the availability of cheaper consumer goods bad?  Well, they’re not bad, if one has a job to afford the purchases.  What is the cost to the metropolitan areas of the Rust Belt?  Thinking of mile after mile of empty rusting warehouses and factories in Gary, Indiana, Detroit, South Chicago, Rochester, NY, how much real estate tax base is lost?  How many lives are wasted waiting for jobs that are not coming back, whether green, purple or red?  Many, way too many lives are dependent upon the Service Employees International Union, and AFSCME, and all the Public Sector Unions representing the welfare industry!  How much does that I-Phone Digital Camera Ap cost, made in China?  How much would it cost to have made it in Rochester NY?  It would have cost the buyer at the shop more.  But, that shopper would not be paying taxes to keep Rochester’s indigenous poor warm in the winter, fed, on garbage, with some walking around money for Crack.  Nor would that shopper be watching inflation go up, as the government prints more money to pay out to the Welfare/Education/DEA/Dept. Of Corrections/Child “Protection” Services Complex; all of which are composed of SEIU or allied unions.  The very Union that Obama spoke to saying: before I even get into the Oval Office I will be meeting with you.  And he was.  And he does.
Where is the GOP candidate that can reach up and grab that Lightning Bolt to the White House, that is just hanging like low fruit, ripe juicy?  This would have been Pat Buchanan’s race to lose.  We do not need a new accountant-in-chief!  We do not need an H&R Block Tax Specialist!  We need a Ron Paul who is not an ideologue on Trade.  We need Pat.  We need Trump without The Donald.  We need Pat.  We need Lou Dobbs, but with fire in the belly.  We need Pat!  We need Dennis Kucinich to remind Congress that it has the authority to make Trade Policy, to Declare War, to mint the coinage, but with the spine of a Capitalist, not with the worminess of a liberal maverick.  We need Pat!
Michele Bachmann YOU were a first tier contender.  You are now fading.  A few weeks ago you met with Trump; I had a hope, but nothing came of it.  I hoped Trump would have told you that perfecting the Tax Code without returning the Constitutional role of Congress to set Trade Policy is like changing the doilies on the dining room tables of the Titanic.  But nothing was heard of it.

Now Pat Buchanan is touring and selling his new book.  Having bought all of his others, this one too shall find a home in my library.  But, all these opportunities to speak to the living as opposed to The McLaughin Group are wasted.  Why not give a hand to Michele Bachmann?  Pat, if ever there was a time, this election would have been it for you!  Right on Trade, Foreign Policy, The Constitution, The “Patriot” Act; Right for 2012.  Michele Bachmann needs to differentiate herself from  the flock (I would not even rate this field of weak sisters a herd!).  She can channel the “Go Pat! Movement!”.  You can channel the Go US TRADE support, Go Michele Go!

Imagine, the next debate: Bachmann asked about her Tax Plan, says we will get to that, but first let me be clear: this economic downturn is not the result of any Tax Code; it is not the fault of the President’s Policies; it is not the fault of too much spending (of which there is); it is not the result of waging wars too numerous and iffy to even state a number (which there are too many of); it is not the fault of the Bankers for charging Risk premiums, and for the Tax Payers forced to cover the downside when the bet goes bad, (which is true); all of these things are true.

But none of them matter.  What matters is that US Trade Policy made sense for the post WWII-world.  The United States was the only unscathed industrial power on earth.  Communism was a real possibility to the desperate masses of Western and Middle Europe.  Those who had not yet felt the tread of Red Army Tanks, but were feeling the breath of internal Communist Parties like Italy, France, and Greece; and Japan, defeated or victorious,no matter, but still in smoldering in rubble, could fall prey to the demonic ideology.  So, the US opened its treasury and began the Marshall Plan.  But great though that plan was, it paled before the other part: The Opening of the world’s largest and wealthiest market to the production of the world.  We have benefitted too, we have had years of inexpensive seeming consumer goods.  But, they only seemed inexpensive.  In reality they cost us our industrial base; no longer would we be the arsenal of democracy if called upon.  And now we are learning that conveniently priced imports are costing our very soul. Unemployment is a soul killing disease.  We need to take a pause.  We need to develop a Trade Policy as The Constitution clearly states.
The Constitution does not call for Congress to develop an energy policy, an environmental policy, a national healthcare policy, but it does call for Congress to develop a Trade Policy FOR THE UNITED STATES.  When we get out Industrial Belt de-rusted, through smart Trade Policy, Trade Policy aimed at improving America’s economy and absolutely only America’s economy then we can redesign Tax Codes all day long.  We can 999, 666, Shake Rattle and Roll, and do you know what?  It will not matter.  When they ask you, for your plan, Michele you say:   My plan is The ONE EIGHT PLAN.  It is Article One Section 8 of the Constitution of the United States of America. In 12 words we can change America and thus the world.  Those words are: that Congress shall have the power “To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations.” The jobs will be here.  The tax base will rise so that even the three stooges could figure out a way to fund the government. Oh, yes, …the Government will require fewer funds.  No more  need for an entire industry producing nothing but welfare, Medicaid, WIC, Housing Subsidies, and all the rest of the depressing bureaucracies that have kept our lost workers in suspended animation, like Zombies for two generations.  And Real Estate?  Do you want to see the Real Estate market move upward, but this time not built on sand, but on the bedrock of American Can-Do-Spirit?    New jobs for new families with new babies and more houses, not less.   1:8 and the 12 words can restore America; and with a restored America, the world becomes safer, happier, hopeful, and more prosperous.  But let us stop talking this simpering half talk and say what we mean and mean what we say.  1:8 is for us; the citizens of this once blessed land; we need to return the Government to the People and the People to God.  Thank you.

Would this not chop the Union Heads off at the shoulders, of the working men and women?  Yes, we mean to establish some ground rules if you want to export to our country.  You may pay your employees artificially undervalued currency, and make them sign anti-suicide contracts; I think that is a shame.  I don’t think we Americans want to collude with that sort of business model.  We shall allow our unions and non-union employees compete in a race to the top, not the bottom!  You may pay lip service, or even not, to Environmental Issues; that is up to you.  But in America we do not tolerate our cities choking on smog, nor use our rivers as toxic veins to the sea.  I do not take science on Faith.  The God of The Bible I take on Faith, all others pay facts!  Including and especially those who would distort scientific sounding jargon to create a false crisis, that incidentally they know how to fix!  WE shall no longer kneel before the Green Goddess that certain segments of our society defends with Medieval accusations of heresy!  We will develop the vast energy that the God Of The Bible has blessed us with.  Here, in America, we have oil, natural gas, oil, all like honey in the crags of the rock.  We can and will be energy independent.  We will create clean energy but restore the English language to its traditional use, namely we no longer shall call water and carbon dioxide pollutants!  We shall have inexpensive energy, without sending our money to parts of the world that have required us sending our sons and daughters with it!  And we shall not emit actual pollutants.  We will not have smog-filled cities ringed with factory-compounds, where workers sleep, eat live and work above suicide netting.  And we shall have all the consumer goods we need.  Maybe not all that we want, at least not at first, but I suspect that given a fair chance we can rebuild, retool, and reboot the American production machine!

Guy Fawkes: The Mask Of the Red Death (And The Papal Bull addendum)

The Occupy Wall Street “Movement” seems to have embraced “The Joker”, or more accurately the stereotypic Guy Fawkes Masks.   What can the connection be?  I have noticed an increase over the past months, of Facebook identifiers using this motif.  The commonality of the Guy Fawkes personae on FB seemed to be an angry nihilism.

In past weeks, the Occupy Wall Street Movement guided by such Youth Culture idols as George Soros and Richard Trumka, has been carrying on in a manner similar to Brit Hume’s description of Rick Perry vomiting all over himself at the debate.

The zombie-like scions of suburbia seem to be out for Revolution.  It is as if on cue.  President Obama made his speech (yes there are many) this one when he waved around The Bill, The American Jobs Act as if he were appealing directly to the American people over the heads of Congress.  I suggest that this message was not just a general one, to the American People.  No, I believe it was as if a pre-arranged code word was uttered.
Certain groups suddenly sprang into action.  In ordinary circumstances on might have called them Sleeper Cells.  Unlike Tea Party rallies where there was focused concern on definite issues, this OWS op has been vaguely unsettling.  It is as if that is its main purpose.  The President’s advisor Van Jones has said in his soft, kind manner that this loving revolution will come from the bottom up and from the top down.  This is the signal to bring the bottom up.  In the weeks before the Occupy Wall Street revelry began, President Obama told his base to put on their marching shoes.  Marching shoes?  The President is calling for his base to hit the streets!  Recall Madison, Wisconsin.  The Governor and the State House passed legislation to reign in the Public Sector Unions.  Unions like SEIU are Obama’s major supporters. http://youtu.be/KxVNuM7-ec4

Guy Fawkes is the perfect symbol of an anti-Capitalist, and an anti-Modernity movement.  Fawkes was a Catholic in England soon to become Great Britain when the Scottish King James VI inherited the English thrown as James I.  Thus he combined England and Scotland in one kingdom.

Great Britain was in the midst of a revolutionary period in the period when James ascended the United Kingdom’s Throne.  Though there were extremely complex interactions and competitions in several different social spheres, they began to crystallize into two poles.

The one pole was the Traditionalist, Royalist, the England of the Country Squires, Fox Hunting, Landed Aristocracy and Gentry profited by the increased cost of food.  Agricultural rural Britain remained little changed from Medieval Times.  The Folk were ignorant, superstitious, illiterate, and were enthrall to Priests, whether Anglican or Catholic made little difference, so long as they and their kin would escape eternal Hell through performing the established rites and sacraments of life.  The country folk were local.  The Norman Conquest made little difference to them.  The only difference was the name of the Lord to whom they owed fidelity.  They were peasants, and were at the mercy of the Aristocracy.  But, though they hated the nobility, they despised the new phenomenon of the Middle Class even more!  After Henry VIII severed relations with Rome and built the Anglican Church, little changed.  The Rites were indistinguishable from Catholicism, except for the fact that the Tithes went to The Anglican Church rather than to Rome, and the many Monasteries and Convents with their vast land holdings were confiscated to increase the wealth and patronage of the Crown.
Luther made his break with Roman Catholicism and changed more than its leadership but initiated reforms that reigned in the blatant corruption of the sales of Indulgences, the sale of masses sang for the dead to shorten their stay in Purgatory, the sale of Annulments, and sales of Bishoprics.  Yet, Luther retained much of the Roman Catholic mass.  The Wine and the Bread were the blood and flesh of Jesus Christ, of which one ate and was saved.  One had to be in good stead with the Church to be eligible for the Eucharist. “Luther did not separate from the Church of the Roman Catholic theologians, but from the Roman Church of the Papacy.”

But now there were deeper rumblings in Christendom.  The printing press and the translation of The Bible into the vernacular allowed for the literate to read for him or herself the Word of God, and not be dependent upon the Priests and their interpretations.

But who could read?

Gradually, in the interstices of Principalities, Towns grew up.  Specialist tradesmen had set up shop.  Jews, who were banned from land owning , and from many of the craft guilds, were not bound by the Anti-Usury laws of Christendom.  Thus, some Jews learned how to borrow money from many, and then loan the large sums to the Princes for their constant wars or to the Clergy for their purchase of titles.  Jews also were international.  An unwanted minority everywhere, they were a majority nowhere.  Thus Jews presented no threat of a nascent nationalism that might make nervous the Emperors and Monarchs that ruled over multinational realms. The close-knit families of Jews allowed them to trust each other.  Families with branches in several nations might be in a position to take a sum of Gold from a Prince in return for a receipt.  That Prince might travel to a distant land on business, and there he would proceed to the family relation there, and present his receipt and receive his Gold.  Naturally these two skills: loaning money for interest and allowing for the movement of capital safely and quickly would be a major component of Capitalism.  As the craftsmen of the larger towns and cities became wealthy, some augmented that wealth by setting up as merchants, buying and selling at distances, using Jews as intermediaries and as bundlers of capital.  It was not long before this combination of Town folk and Jews, the in the Burghs of Europe became recognizable as The Bourgeoisie.  This gradual development suddenly reached critical mass, and voila: a prosperous, thrifty, literate class that was neither Peasant nor Prince nor Priest.  They were in the middle.  They were the Middle Class.  And it was the first new thing under the sun since the fall of Rome, if not even longer.
These Townsfolk became wealthy by virtue of investment of time to learn a skill that was in demand, by frugality and reinvestment in their business, through sobriety, which was necessary to maintain one’s reputation for integrity, which Tradesmen and Merchants must still guard to this day, all of which are recognizable as the Protestant Work Ethic, but are also the hallmark of the Jewish Middleclass as well.

The surplus funds allowed their children to become literate, and from then on, their children and their children’s children would be literate.  The Aristocracy made it a point of honor to live above their means.  If not engaged in war, they engaged in ostentatious competition of architecture, and the commission of art.  Their wealth was based on agriculture.  Agriculture technology was not advancing at the clip of the Bourgeoisie’s.  One bad harvest and the Duke or Count or Marquise had to borrow seed money for the following year’s sowing.  Or a war demanded he show up with the given number of equipped warriors that was part of his side of the Feudal deal with his Lord.  Warriors often wanted gold.  As the Feudal Age faded, the Lords whose land was held less in fealty than in Free Hold , were taxed to pay for the National Military.
As well, these now literate townsmen were reading their Bibles and not seeing much correlation with the Religious Establishment to whom they owed tithes.  Tithing was down.  Bishops had pretensions to keep, as did Aristocrats.  Both found themselves having to go hat in hand to the upstart Merchant Class for loans.

The more the Middle Class Christians read, the more they wrote.  Men like John Calvin, Knox, and Brown were formulating what would be known as Reformed Protestantism.  This new way of reading the Bible threw doubt on the concept of collective salvation by virtue of belonging to the Right Church, or by performing the correct rituals. No mortal has the power to do anything to put God, the Creator of The Universe in debt, and to earn one’s Salvation; not oneself and certainly not some Cleric in a costume.  Suddenly The Greatest Gift of God to Mankind was found to be FREE for the asking!  No need to stand behind Priests.  No, with faith in the Salvation of Jesus Christ, one may confess sins directly to Him, and pledge to improve oneself, directly to Him, and ask for atonement directly from Him.  There was no necessary intermediary.  No need for Priests.
Now we have set the Table.
The Stewart Dynasty came into power at the time these forces were building up pressure within Britain.  Scotland had been very much in the camp of Knox, a Reformed Theologian and they became the Presbyterians.  Meanwhile in England, there was always concern that the Aristocracy was secretly Catholic or aligned with Rome.  The coming south of King James was seen as great promise for Protestant reform in England.  However when James VI of Scotland sat upon the English Throne as James the First, he had had a stomach full of Presbyterians with their nouveau riche uppityness.  He was not going to allow England to go down that path.    He was condemned as a secret Catholic by many.  He allied Britain with France in War against the Dutch.  He relied on French foreign aid.  It was rumored that his wife was Catholic.  It was rumored that he was gathering an Irish Catholic Army to bring Britain to heel. All true to a lesser or greater extent, one thing was certain, the Parliament would not vote him funds for any war against fellow Reformed Protestants.  Parliament had become the center of  the opposite pole in Britain.  It was anti-Anglican, (anti-High Church with its “smells and bells”), it was urban, it was Chapel oriented (as opposed to High Church), it was literate, it represented intellectuals like John Locke who were active then; it was Capitalist (thought the term had not been coined).
Yet James, was not a Catholic.  He was an Anglican, and he wanted a peaceful realm where all would use the Standard Anglican Prayer Book.  He demanded that everyone Tithe to the Anglican Church, and attend Sunday services.  It was this impulse to forge a truly united kingdom, united in Religion as well as politically, that prompted him to fund a new translation of the Bible, one that was not “decorated” with Calvinist Protestant notes in the margins as was the commonly used English Translation of the Geneva Bible.  Thus, we have the King James Bible.
There is one more issue to discuss.  This is: why was the issue of Catholicism or non-Catholicism so hotly contested in Britain?  In the reign of Elizabeth the First, Catholicism was viewed from Britain and the Netherlands as Communism was seen for the latter half of the 20th century.  There was a perpetual Cold War interrupted by flashes of actual war.  The Dutch Reformed Protestant Church had been fighting the Spanish who had ruled the Netherlands for many years.  Here nationalism and religion were clearly linked. The Dutch appealed to Britain.  As in several times in history, Britain found herself as the sole defender of liberty against a would-be hegemon of Europe.  Great Britain was the Protestant Bulwark.  Phillip of Spain his Most Catholic Monarch, decided that only invading England would get the Dutch to quit the fight.  As the first of many would-be conquerors that disdained the shop-keeping nation, Hapsburg Spain underestimated the foe.  He sent the great Armada to link up with his General Parma in Holland, and to seize the English Channel long enough to allow the invasion army to get ashore.  Francis Drake and his Sea Dogs threw the wrench into the works.  He sent in fire ships that scattered the Armada.  But a greater foe loomed for Spain, the Weather.  Whether or not one thinks the Weather is blind to the foibles of mankind, it was not this time.  One of the most ferocious storms on record churned up the Channel and the North Sea and the Armada was scattered and dashed to pieces.  The few ships that managed to steer around Scotland ran aground in Ireland where many of them were murdered by their Irish co-religionists.  Thus, anti-Catholicism is a very strong plank in the British National Psyche.  There is nothing against Catholics as individuals, on my part, or upon the part of the English now or even back then.  Nations often identify themselves by having faced down a deadly foe together.  This carried on into America.  The presence of French in Canada was always threat to the American colonists.
King James tried to quell the national rancor over religion by pushing Anglicanism down equally on all.  He was well-meaning in this regard.
Catholics were also against James.  This is somewhat exonerating, for to have both sides against him, he must truly have been seeking compromise.  But, it required a bloody Civil War to get to the point where the British peoples had a belly full of religious violence.  This erupted in the reign of James’ son, Charles the I, and cost him his head.

So we are at a juncture where the Age of Protestant rationalism, Capitalism, science, and Liberty, were about to flower into what we call the Modern World.

Guy Fawkes was a Catholic Englishman.  He had fought for the Catholics in the Dutch Wars.  It is as if he were an American Al-Qaida.   He attempted to blow up Parliament with King James inside, perhaps ascribing a False Flag, as a Puritan op, in order to raise Catholicism in the regard of the people.  Or maybe as an openly Catholic terrorist op, to force a Protestant war with Spain that he was sure the Spanish with his help would win this time.  Whichever, the very fact of this question points to a strange connectedness with his time and ours.   His time was the cusp between the Pre-Modern and The Modern.  He was seeking to abort the Modern Age with it Protestant British underpinnings.  His face now adorns the masks of Occupy Wall Street partygoers. And we are again on the cusp between The Modern and now the Post-Modern, which will be much like the Pre-Modern but with more effective Inquisatory Technology and much more anti-humanism filling the air.  Anti-Semitism, anti-Capitalism, anti-Americanism, anti-Anglophone, and anti-Protestantism (as represented in this age by the Evangelicals, whose name is like a curse on the tongues of the the Left and the rabid revelers) is what unites the otherwise chaotic Occupy Wall Street “message”. There is no real goal, they are urged on by an inchoate hatred of The Modern.  Their existence has been whistled-up by Obama The Community Organizer.  The myriad organizations with their incestuous mingling of chairmen and funders, as Glenn Beck correctly replicated with his spaghetti-string charts is controlled by men like George Soros, Maurice Strong, and other’s whose names are linked with all that is dark about the New World Order Power rising to high places.

Guy Fawkes is the plus perfect symbol that connects all the disparate pieces and like a film running backwards, there is a movement to the poles.
And, as if on cue, I was chilled  to the core upon reading of the Vatican’s attack on “corporate greed” and its support of a World Bank!  Imagine if Pope (Eggs) Benedict was seen at Occupy St Peter’s Square; wearing a Guy Fawkes mask?  Finally, with all of the patience of a Saint, Guy Fawkes prevailed!  The Continental Catholic resistance against The Modern Age, with its Capitalism and pesky notions about Liberty and individual God Given Rights (and not Church-given indulgences!) finally wins.  Instead of but far better than blowing up Parliament, Guy Fawkes, OWS and his allies in High Places have set the charges under Parliamentary or Constitutional Republicanism, and is bringing it all down.  They are rewinding History to where it might be if Guy Fawkes had succeeded in restoring England to the Roman Catholic Church.  An England restored to the fold of Rome, would not have emerged as the source of the Protestant Enlightenment.  John Locke who had spent much time staying out of James’ grasp, would be unknown.  A return of bloody Inquisition might have extinguished the Puritan movement and thus the history of North America would be quite different.  The removal of the Puritans would also have lessened the chance of an English Civil War; an event that sent many Royalist families to Virginia.  Thus the two poles that generated the tension so formative to Great Britain and America would not have existed.  America and the great age of Liberal Commercial civilization would not have occurred.  It is as if Guy Fawkes is a Terminator from some alternate universe where Rome reigns supreme, with a global bank, and a Monumental Gothic Cathedral in Jerusalem.
The Pope criticizes Corporate Greed, and joins the calls of children wearing Guy Fawkes masks all over the America protesting Wall Street, the once proud symbol of Capitalism,  now sullied by the mixing of illegitimate government meddling that picks winners and losers.  They have corrupted Capitalism by bribing it with the benefits that might be provided if the Government had the authority to intervene in the free market, and  corporations the means to effect Government policy through contributions.  When Corporations become so powerful that they can bend the Government  to their will, and when the Government becomes so powerful that it can determine which corporations attain that power it is as a Mobius Strip, with we the ants not knowing which way is up!  Guy Fawkes Terminator sent from the past to kill the future, and restore Mother Church.

Notice the scent of Anti-Semitism in the air?  It is present.  Whether in the guise of anti-Zionism, or International Banksters with big noses, it doesn’t matter.  Notice the Muslim offer of “prayer”.  Notice the lack of an preaching of Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMoshiah?  Plenty of radical Social Doctrine coming from “vibrant” effete liberal protestant communities, and now also from Rome itself, but no one is saying “hey, what about the City on Seven Hills?  What is this 666 system?”  And no Jews as Jews, please.  (Yes Jewish protestors are welcome, so long as they are not wearing their “Jewish hat so-to-speak.
Guy Fawkes Day is November 5.  This fun Fourth of July-like celebration in England may now return to its grim origin.  For it was on this day that Guy Fawkes set the bombs to overthrow Protestant England in the name of The Pope.

A Letter To Ms. Bachmann: Be the Trade Policy Candidate!

MICHELLE BACHMANN  The Trade Policy Candidate!
Please be the candidate to break away and heed Trump’s recognition of the elephant in the room: the totally disastrous Trade Policy, or lack thereof!

Free Trade is NOT a Constitutional mandate; in fact it is a legitimate role of Congress to implement Federal Trade Policy.  Free Trade is supported as a philosophic necessity by doctrinaire libertarians like Ron Paul, and by multinational corporatists.  There is no libertarian necessity to allow the total freedom of passage of goods, and services across national borders.  After all, we are not Globalists.  If we have national borders, they ought to serve a purpose in improving the life of Americans.

No Tax schemes 999 or 666 or 777 will turn this economy.  The problem is that low cost imported consumer goods are as irresistible to us, as Opium was to China.  The argument that “We should be grateful to be able to purchase low cost electronics, appliances, cars, computers from those countries that are willing to work for cheap wages!”  No!  It is good for consumers; but every consumer must be a producer too, or he/she is on welfare or is a thief.  We were originally going to be the High tech and Intellectual Services producer: Financials, Insurance, etc.  Meanwhile the High tech jobs have gone to China and other Asian countries.  Silicon valley invents but China produces their inventions.  Lower tech jobs allowed those who aren’t the sharpest knife in the draw to still have a job, paying enough to raise a family and perhaps purchase a home.  Can we not produce clothing, shoes, furniture, computers, light bulbs, clocks, watches, or anything here?  We export the things a developing country does: grain, scrap metal, coal, meat, etc.  And dollars.  But the world may not want many more dollars.  Then we shall discover the true cost of low cost consumer goods!

Please: 1) Reverse your opinion on the need for the Patriot Act; and 2) Identify yourself as the ONLY candidate that recognizes the deep systemic source of our economic problem as dysfunctional trade policy.  Why has no GOP candidate spoken out against this latest trade deal with panama, Colombia and Korea?  No Democrat, no Republican.  Talk to Donald, make Trade your issue, and you will spring to a unique position in the debates, and will have a lock on the most volatile issue that can be raised.  It only needs the raising.

All the best.  I think if you do these two things you will be unstoppable.  If you don’t, well there is little to differentiate you from the rest other than eye appeal.
